To all Prospective Spacecoast Rocket Players and Parents:

On behalf of the Spacecoast Rockets, I would like to welcome you to our 2016-17 hockey season.  We have a very exciting new program designed to provide each player a uniquely challenging hockey experience.  We are very excited to unveil this groundbreaking, one-of-a-kind hockey experience to your young athlete.

Over the years there have been many ways for players to experience hockey.  Until now, most hockey programs have been focused on profit first and player development second, or third, and sometimes not at all.  Well that is about to change, and we are excited to be the ones that are going to bring it to you.  The Brevard Amateur Ice Hockey Association is a non-profit organization, made up of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about developing hockey players to their full potential.  Collectively, we have over 100 hundred years of experience playing, parenting, managing and coaching hockey.  Many of us have raised hockey players of our own, and have seen the good and the not-so-good that often comes with youth sports.  As our kids transition to high school hockey and beyond, we have chosen to use our “lessons learned” to build a hockey program that keeps the things that work, and adjusts the things that don’t.  The result is a unique hockey experience that is tailored to fit the needs of every young athlete, at a cost that everyone can afford.

Some unique elements of this new program are Player Development Tracking (PDT), and Perfect-Fit Play (PFP).

·       Player Development Tracking (PDT) is an evaluation system that tells a player exactly where they are in the developmental process.  This system addresses specific skills within the entire hockey skill set, to let a player know exactly where they need to focus to move their game to the next level.

·       Perfect-Fit Placement (PFP) is a system that ensures a player gets the level of play that fits their skill-set.  Every team your athlete plays on has a range of skill level within it.  Until now, it has been impossible for all players to get the right challenges throughout the season that fit each player’s skill level.  We have a unique system where we use the tournament experience to achieve the perfect-fit for all our players.

This is just a very brief overview of the ground-breaking program we have developed for you.  Our coaches are excited to get this season underway and look forward to providing you the best hockey experience you have ever had, at the most affordable price you have ever paid.

Thanks you for supporting the Spacecoast Rockets!
